Pharmaceutical and life sciences data analytics vendor IMS Health has acquired 360 Vantage, a vendor of cloud-based customer relationship management and marketing software to health care organizations.

The acquisition is part of an IMS strategy to give its customers more capabilities to drill into customer interactions across multiple channels and touch points via a suite of vendor-hosted applications. Terms of the acquisition, the third for IMS in recent weeks, were not disclosed. The applications of 360 Vantage are built on the platform and include a CRM platform that supports mobile devices and has social media tools, analytics and reporting modules, and training and testing services.
