Hoyt to Lead HIMSS Analytics
The Healthcare Information and Management Association has named John Hoyt to lead its HIMSS Analytics database and business intelligence unit. He succeeds David Garets and Mike Davis, who left the firm this spring to join The Advisory Board Company in Washington.
The Healthcare Information and Management Association has named John Hoyt to lead its HIMSS Analytics database and business intelligence unit. He succeeds David Garets and Mike Davis, who left the firm this spring to join The Advisory Board Company in Washington.
Hoyt has served as HIMSS vice president of healthcare organization services since 2008, working with affiliates. Now, he has been promoted to executive vice president of organizational services, which includes heading up HIMSS Analytics. He previously served at IBM Healthlink Service, Martha Jefferson Health Services in Charlottesville, Va., and First Data Health Systems.
