A new service on the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society's JobMine Web site targets graduates of HITECH Act-funded health information technology programs at community colleges and universities.

The programs are designed to increase the I.T. workforce by 50,000 over five years. HIMSS' new service enables graduates of the ONC HIT Workforce Development Program to post resumes and access open positions that potential employers have posted.

Resources on the site, available here, include a resume guide, downloadable resume and cover letter templates, and a career advice library. The site had 127 listed jobs as of May 8.
