Software vendor HealthPort is guaranteeing its electronic health records software will support meaningful use criteria necessary for physicians to receive Medicare or Medicaid incentive payments under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

"If HealthPort's deployed software can be shown not to meet ARRA requirements, we will refund the amount that the client paid for the software," says Larry Armold, vice president and general manager. The Alpharetta, Ga.-based vendor, serving hospitals and physicians, also offers outsourced release of information services along with document imaging/management and revenue cycle management software.
