Minnetonka, Minn.-based UnitedHealthcare has launched MedicareMadeClear.com, a Web site that is part of the payer’s national campaign to explain the complex federal insurance program to consumers. In addition to the Web site, the payer will reach out to seniors across the country at community events and distribute materials in local grocery stores and pharmacies. The site includes consumer-oriented videos as well as instructions on enrolling in the health plan’s various social media outlets, including Facebook and Twitter.
