Health IT Week Coming Soon to Educate and Promote

National Health IT Week is scheduled for Sept. 16-20 with a range of activities to raise awareness of the benefits of health information technology among local communities and state and federal policymakers.


National Health IT Week is scheduled for Sept. 16-20 with a range of activities to raise awareness of the benefits of health information technology among local communities and state and federal policymakers.

A range of information on activities is available at healthitweek.org, including 10 ways to promote HIT in a community, Web seminars, and educational and policy events in New York City, Washington, D.C.; Hartford, Conn.; Bowling Green, Ky.; and Portland, Ore., along with a job fair in Baltimore.

Co-sponsors of National Health IT Week include the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Institute for eHealth Policy and College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, with multiple provider, association, college, corporate and government partners.
