The module supports tracking of allergens testing, serum development and automated filling of the final serum sheet, lot administration and reporting, patient tracking to determine adherence to a serum regimen, discrete data for reporting and analysis, vial details and allergen definition, injection site and dose amount, reactions and orders, and patient education, according to the Carrollton, Ga.-based vendor.
Advanced ENT and Allergy LLC, an eight-site, 14-provider practice in Louisville, Ky., was a co-developer of the software. While it used to take 30 minutes to handwrite a serum recipe, it now takes about a second, contends Michele Marry, allergy manager.
