Federally Developed CONNECT HIE Software Gets an Upgrade

The Federal Health Architecture, a collaboration of multiple government agencies, has released an enhanced version of the open source CONNECT software for secure health information exchange.


The Federal Health Architecture, a collaboration of multiple government agencies, has released an enhanced version of the open source CONNECT software for secure health information exchange.

Version 4.2 includes support for Java 6 and 7, as well as supporting more multi-specification document query and document retrieve version identification functions. Eleven existing bugs were fixed, and a number of other improvements smooth out implementation and testing processes.
