Industry-sponsored EHNAC certifies entities that process transactions or exchange health information for meeting best practices. The Web seminar, “Dispelling the Myth that All Health Information Exchanges Are Created Equal,” will cover how HIE models have evolved, major players, factors stakeholders should consider, and the federally sponsored Direct Project secure messaging and National Health Information Network initiatives.
Presenters include Laura Koklman, president at Mosaica Partners; Jan Root, CEO at Utah Health Information Network; William O’Byrne, executive director of the New Jersey Health Information Technology Extension Center; Kate Berry, CEO at the National e-Health Collaborative; and Jennifer Bordenick, CEO at eHealth Initiative.
