NurseSquared is used to train nursing students on how to properly document on an EHR using embedded documentation scenarios. The system also offers construction of care plans under which students are required to select appropriate nursing diagnoses and actions related to specific medical diagnoses. Furthermore, they can add appropriate assessments and interventions for individual simulated patients.

The system also can be used to train nurses in real care settings as they prepare to adopt EHRs. More information is available at nursesquared.com and elsevier.com.
