Mountain View, Calif.-based drchrono Inc., vendor of a Web-based physician practice management/electronic health records system running on a single database, has raised $650,000 in seed funding a month after raising $675,000 in a separate round.

Participants in one or both rounds include DST Global founder Yuri Milner, General Catalyst, Charles River Ventures, 500 Startups and individual angel investors.

The vendor also has introduced a downloadable patient check-in app for the iPad that integrates with the electronic records system. Version 9.0 of the EHR is meaningful use-certified.

The company offers a base practice management/electronic records package for free, and charges $200 to $800 per physician per month for expanded functionality. More information is available at drchrono.com.
