DR Systems Inc. will introduce its eMix platform for sharing imaging studies and reports at the Radiological Society of North America’s 95th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting in Chicago.
The Electronic Medical Information Exchange enables secure sharing of images and reports among institutions and physicians via the Internet, according to the vendor. It also helps link patient images to relevant electronic health records. The new system requires patient authorization of any data or images exchanged and includes an audit trail.
The system will be demonstrated at San Diego-based DR System’s RSNA booth, #6229, in the South Hall A at Chicago’s McCormick Place. RSNA’s exhibit hall will be open Nov. 29 through Dec. 3.
