A new report from consultancy/services firm Computer Sciences Corp. examines the future of health care by identifying five industry-reshaping trends and 10 emerging technologies.

The technologies include "smart" pills that deliver targeted doses of medication to specific locations in the body, sensors in pills to track medication adherence, brain implants to block seizures, contact lens with a microchip to detect glaucoma, an artificial pancreas for diabetics and a "lab-on-a-chip" for testing for HIV or other conditions, among other emerging products.
