Covisint will embed Raleigh, N.C.-based DocSite's applications in its HIE platform software, called ExchangeLink. DocSite sells patient and disease registry, pay-for-performance reporting, clinical decision support, e-prescribing, data warehouse, and document imaging and management software.
Covisint expects adding DocSite's functionality to its HIE platform will give it a competitive advantage to securing large HIE contracts from states and other entities, such as Beacon Communities.
More information is available at covisint.com and docsite.com.
