The third of eight free Web seminars covering issues under the new $500 million Partnership for Patients initiative to quickly and dramatically increase patient safety is scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern on July 19.
The CMS Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation and the National Quality Forum host the seminars. The July 19 event will focus on preventing adverse drug events. Speakers represent the Institute for Safe Practices, Fairview Health Services in Minnesota, Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, and investment/advisory firm The Blackstone Group.
