The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will hold a national conference call for providers on Feb. 18 to explain how eligible professionals can register for the Medicaid electronic health records incentive program.
Criteria for Medicaid incentives are considerably lower than for Medicare incentives and several states since early January have been issuing meaningful use checks.
The call will cover eligibility for the Medicaid meaningful use program, how to register and other steps to take to get an incentive payment. CMS officials also will discuss switching between the Medicare and Medicaid incentive programs, and answer questions.
Registration is necessary to receive call-in information and registration for the call will close at 1 p.m. EST on Feb. 17 or when available space is filled. To register, visit eventsvc.com/palmettogba/021811.
