CMS Getting Set to Accept eRX Exemption Requests

Physicians, from November through January, can request a hardship exemption from the Medicare 2013 electronic prescribing program on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Quality Reporting Communication Support Page.

CMS will review requests on a case-by-case basis, and all decisions are final. Exclusion criteria is available here, scroll down to page 2. Hardship exemptions for 2014 will be accepted later in 2013.
