Cleveland Clinic Expands CME Credits

The Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Continuing Education will provide credit for users of the MD Consult and First Consult medical reference and decision support applications of Elsevier, Philadelphia.


The Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Continuing Education will provide credit for users of the MD Consult and First Consult medical reference and decision support applications of Elsevier, Philadelphia.

MD Consult offers full-text articles from more than 80 medical journals and 10,000 patient handouts in English and Spanish. First Consult is an online database of decision support content and video to assist in patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, tests, prevention and medical procedures.

Cleveland Clinic’s CME program will enable physicians to complete a short form and earn 0.5 American Medical Association Physicians Recognition Award Category 1 credit for each search conducted through the Elsevier software.
