The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has introduced a Web service enabling national, state and regional comparisons of the percentage of adults between 50 and 64 years of age who receive certain preventive services.

The Web service includes an accompanying 79-page report identifying a set of recommended services and baseline national and state-level data to monitor progress. The report also includes strategies to increase preventive treatments.

The American Medical Association and AARP worked with the CDC to develop the report and Web service, available at http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/DACH_PPS/Default/Default.aspx.
