KLAS Enterprises, an Orem, Utah-based health information technology vendor research firm, is making available a HIT Buyers Guide for the 2010 HIMSS Conference & Exhibition in Atlanta.

The guide, which KLAS also will distribute at the conference, translates vendor performance scores based on customer satisfaction surveys into letter grades for more than 700 software products and services.

The grades cover multiple product categories in the acute care and ambulatory settings. They also grade such I.T. services as clearinghouse, hosting, implementation, outsourcing, transcription, planning and revenue cycle.

The guide is free for providers and available for purchase by vendors and consultants. It is available at klasresearch.com/hitbuyersguide.
