A new blog posting from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology attempts to separate fact from fiction in interpretations of electronic health records certification.

Steven Posnack, director of ONC's federal policy division, tackles the veracity of seven common statements about the certification program, such as a belief that certifications expire every two years, which is fiction.
