Beacon Partners’ Acquires a Clinical Systems Consultancy

Consultancy Beacon Partners has acquired Healthcare Innovative Solutions, a Seville, Ohio-based consulting firm specializing in clinical systems implementations and improved workflow within hospitals.

Terms of the acquisition between the privately held firms were not disclosed. Weymouth, Mass.-based Beacon says the acquisition will increase its revenue and employee bases by 15 percent.

The acquisition gives Beacon more expertise with electronic health records and computerized physician order entry systems, and a new business line installing systems from Siemens Healthcare.
