Baptist Health System will implement remote intensive care unit monitoring services in five hospitals in San Antonio totaling 134 ICU beds.


Baptist Health System will implement remote intensive care unit monitoring services in five hospitals in San Antonio totaling 134 ICU beds.

The delivery system will use the eICU technology from the VISICU unit of Philips Healthcare, Andover, Mass. Critical care clinicians at a central location will monitor video and data from the ICUs around the clock and alert or assist on-floor staff as necessary.
