Information technology consulting firm Arcadia Solutions has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Concordant Inc. for an undisclosed sum.


Information technology consulting firm Arcadia Solutions has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Concordant Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition is designed to create a one-stop shop for services from strategy through support for clinical information, according to Arcadia.

Burlington, Mass.-based Arcadia offers provider services covering practice redesign, electronic health records implementation and optimization, meaningful use compliance, and accountable care organizations. It also serves regional extension centers. The firm's payer services cover business strategy, vendor selection and implementation, regulatory compliance, and sales performance management.

North Chelmsford, Mass.-based Concordant's services include strategic planning, EHR adoption, infrastructure design and implementation, program management, content development for more than 25 specialties, workflow assessment and optimization, interfaces and health information exchange designs, and data security, among others.
