Analytics Tool for HIEs

Health information exchange vendor Axolotl has launched a suite of reporting and analytics tools. According to the vendor, its “Elysium Discover” product can be integrated with an HIE to deliver reporting, analytics and dashboard capabilities.  Exchanges can trap data pertaining to system performance, generate patient registries, and perform clinical quality and public health reporting.  The company says its reports will satisfy the auditing, clinical quality, and Meaningful Use requirements of ARRA and other government programs. The software includes security controls to regulate which users can see the reports.
