Allscripts and Humedica Team

EHR vendor Allscripts and business intelligence vendor Humedica announced a collaboration on a cloud-based clinical informatics platform. The firms say that the software package will help physicians and hospitals tackle value-based reimbursements models from payers. The two companies will market a clinical analytics tool that is integrated with Allscripts’ acute care and ambulatory EHRs. The platform enables operational and outcomes benchmarking, the firms say. "To succeed in the era of payment reform, healthcare organizations need visibility into quality and cost across every care setting with the ability to track the performance of each provider, organization and at-risk patient in the care process," said Glen Tullman, Allscripts CEO, in a statement.
