The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality is assessing user satisfaction with Web-based tools it makes available to help providers evaluate health information technology products.
The tools are part of the Health IT Survey Compendium, a centralized resource of health surveys covering such areas as user satisfaction, usability and product functionality, as well as the affect of the technology on safety, quality and efficiency.
AHRQ will survey health I.T. researchers and implementers in provider, vendor and consultant organizations. "The goals of this project are to determine whether the Health IT Survey Compendium is reaching its intended audiences, whether it is meeting the information needs and expectations of these audiences, and whether it is easy to use," according to a notice published March 11 in the Federal Register.
