Health information technology staff recruiting firm Intellect Resources is looking for candidates to become trainers on using the Epic electronic health records software.

Selected individuals will be assigned to work at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans for a minimum of five months. Intellect Resources will hire 200 trainers during day-long auditions on January 21 in New Orleans. Candidates must apply online at by 5 p.m. on January 19 and walk-ins will not be permitted.

Experience in health care information technology or training is not a prerequisite, according to Tiffany Crenshaw, president and CEO at Intellect Resources. “We’re opening the audition process to anyone with a degree or professional certification who thinks they have the personality, work ethic and people skills to succeed as a health care technology trainer.”

The audition process will include interviews, Q&A sessions, team activities, and a presentation. Selected candidates will complete a four- to six-week paid course before being assigned to Ochsner.
