KLAS lists top software suites for healthcare organizations
In its long-awaited Best in KLAS annual ranking of healthcare IT products and services, KLAS Enterprises, the Orem, Utah-based vendor research and consulting firm, listed the most highly rated software vendors and products. KLAS bases its rankings by measuring vendor satisfaction rates of users, based on thousands of interviews with hospitals and physician practices during the past year.

The overall software ranking looks at vendors that provide a suite of products that clients purchase to address core IT needs. Suites typically have both fully rated clinical and financial systems, as well as ancillary systems.

As components in a comprehensive software suite, KLAS includes acute care EMR; patient accounting and patient management; community hospital information system; ambulatory EMR; and additional other modules available to fit providers' specific needs.
