Mr. Cleveland is currently the Branch Banking Performance Measurement Executive for SunTrust Bank. In this role, he is responsible for branch banking productivity and financial performance across SunTrusts entire 1,700 branch footprint. He is based in Atlanta. Prior to assuming his current role in April 2010, Mr. Cleveland served as the Memphis Region Retail Line of Business Manager. In this capacity, he had responsibility for all Retail Banking activities of the SunTrust branches in Southwest Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. Scott joined SunTrust in 1996 as part of the Management Associate Program and has since served successfully in many roles within the organization. He began his career as an In-Store Banking Branch Manager and helped expedite the growth of In-Store Banking at SunTrust as the Sales Manager for the state of Georgia. As a Business Banker, Scott thrived in helping business owners in multiple geographic markets. He has spent several years directing Commercial Banking teams and in area management for Branch Banking prior to his line of business leadership role. Scott is a five-time member of the SunTrust Chairmans team; recognition for company leading performance. Prior to joining SunTrust, he was a manager in Finance with Time Warner, Inc and earlier leveraged his entrepreneurial spirit as he ran a small business in Atlanta.Mr. Cleveland graduated from Georgia State University in 1996 with a BBA in Management. He is a graduate of the CBA School of Retail Bank Management as well as the Georgia Bankers Association School for Bank Management. Mr. Cleveland resides in Atlanta with his wife Holly and two children Kendall (age 9) and Evan (age 6). He has served on multiple charitable and foundation boards including the United Way and the Memphis Rise Foundation (Chair). Scotts other non-profit work includes the GA Brain Tumor Foundation and American Cancer Society.
