Mark is a partner in the real estate group of Ernst & Young LLPs the New York office, and leads the firms Real Estate Distress Services Group. Marks significant experience with distressed assets has made him a sought after expert, and he is often requested to speak at global and regional conferences; national and cable television, and periodicals on topics involving accounting for distressed real estate and loan assets in Asia. In addition, he is frequently invited by foreign governments to provide advice on best practices for financial sector development. Mark was a key contributor to the U.S. governments efforts to strengthen the financial sector following the U.S. savings and loan crisis.Mark previously served as the Managing Partner of Ernst & Youngs Asia Pacific Financial Services practice, where he was responsible for managing the regional efforts of the firm.
