An eyewitness to the explosion of FDCPA suits being filed in the mid/late-2000s, Jack Gordon created WebRecon in 2008 to address the challenges that rapidly increasing consumer litigation posed for the collection industry. Prior to that, he owned and operated a Michigan collection agency for several years. Jack is uniquely qualified to lead this type of discussion. He has been in the shoes of the agencies getting sued, but now spends his time watching filing trends, examining the consumer litigant culture to pick up their deeply held secrets, and advocating for a saner debt collection environment. Through WebRecon, Jack is an active supporter of ACA International, DBA International and NARCA. Jack lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is married with two young children.
