David Maluf, Ph.D., is the head of the Data Management Group at NASA Ames Research Center. At NASA, he was project manager for knowledge engineering under the Engineering for Complex Systems program. He is the inventor of many NASA patents, including NETMARK tool suites, which were commercialized, leading to products such as NX and PMT. He is the recipient of the Best Technology Commercialization, Turning Goals into Reality and Space Act Awards.
