In July 2011, Brian was appointed Head of Regional Retail Banking & Direct Channels for TD Bank, Americas Most Convenient Bank.Located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Brian oversees TDs approximately 1300 stores and the on-line, mobile, ATM & contact center channels and over 16,500 employees who are focused on delivering an integrated legendary customer WOW! experience across every channel to TDs 8 million customers.Brian is a 35-year veteran of TD, having joined as a part-time teller in Toronto, Canada. Over that 35-year period, Brian has held increasingly senior positions in Branch Banking, Human Resources, Corporate Office and now Store & Channel leadership in the U.S.Some of the more notable positions included being the first employee of TD Canada Trust, where he headed up Human Resources for the largest financial services integration in Canadian history. Following that, he led the Retail Distribution network for TD Canada Trust for almost 5 years, winning the J.D. Power & Synovate awards for customer experience excellence every year he was there. Prior to joining the TD Bank, Americas Most Convenient Bank team, Brian established the North American Direct Channels & Distribution strategy team for TD Bank Group, leading an integrated solution for on-line, mobile, contact centers & ATMs for TDs 4 retail business segments.Brian holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto as well as completing the Stanford Executive Program in 2008. Brian lives with Merribeth Devine in Philadelphia. They have 5 children.
