Most Powerful Women in HIT conference is set for May 12

May 12 event offers sessions on career development, challenges in healthcare IT.


The Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT will be honored at Health Data Management’s first-ever program to highlight influential women in the industry.

Scheduled for May 12 in Boston, the event will offer sessions on trends in the industry, as well as time to honor the 75 women that Health Data Management named to its inaugural panel of the Most Powerful Women in Healthcare IT.

The day-long program is both an awards ceremony for the women who are driving healthcare technology and innovation forward and a day of professional development and mentoring for all women in the healthcare IT world. The event will showcase the industry’s leaders and offer inspiration to the next generation of women in healthcare IT.

Keynote speakers at the event include:

  • Eileen Pollack, the author of “The Only Woman in the Room: Why Science is Still a Boys Club,” and the novels Breaking and Entering and Paradise, New York, and more.
  • Joan Y. Reede, MD, Dean for Diversity and Community Partnership and an associate professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
