The Long Island Patient Information eXchange is on a data mission. The not-for-profit corporation has established a health information exchange connecting more than 25 Long Island, N.Y.-based care facilities to the 1.6 million patient records in its ecosystem. It ties those facilities, providers and patients together through master patient index services, results distribution, secure messaging and provider and patient gateways, among other services.
To do so, it has built an infrastructure that securely collects, stores and distributes data from its partners. In that environment, data management and governance are constant challenges that must be analyzed and addressed as the HIE grows and continues to provide the connectivity and services its members need.
Please join us for this complimentary web seminar to hear CTO, Mark Greakerand other eXchange executives explain how the exchange has built its data management and connectivity infrastructure to tie its partners together and fulfill its mission of fundamentally improving the quality and efficiency of health care for the betterment of patients and providers.
