Wanted: Meaningful Users

Provider organizations in position to go for federal incentive payments for meaningful use of electronic health records can apply for those payments starting in January.

Health Data Management's January issue will include a story on the application process and the experiences of providers gearing up in late 2010. If your organization expects to apply for meaningful use incentives during the first half of 2011 and would like to share your experiences with peers, I would appreciate a telephone interview by November 15.

There are things your organization has learned so far about the trek to meaningful use and the application process that peers need to know about. And there are things you still haven't figured out that peer organizations also need to know about.
