Suite Combines McKesson, Per-Se Apps

A new suite of workforce management software from McKesson Corp. represents the completion of integrating products of the San Francisco-based vendor with the applications of Per-Se Technologies Inc., which McKesson acquired last year.

The Patient Care Advantage suite is anchored with Per-Se’s ANSOS One-Staff scheduling software, teamed with McKesson’s Time & Attendance application and Horizon Human Resources Management product. The applications can be purchased as a suite or as stand-alone products.

McKesson also now offers the Web-based eShift nurse scheduling software--which is part of One-Staff--as a stand-alone product. That means hospitals can use the software that enables nurses to bid on open shifts without buying One-Staff.

Also new with One-Staff is a Web-based analytical reporting dashboard. More information is available at mckesson.com.
