Integrated with various information systems, AccuNurse works by pressing a button on a badge, enabling users to verbally receive worklists, document task completion and communicate with co-workers.
Rock succeeds James Quasey, who has taken a position with Industrial Scientific Corp., an Oakdale, Pa.-based manufacturer of gas detection devices. Rock most recently served as co-founder, president and CEO at Akustica Inc., a Pittsburgh-based vendor of small single-chip microphones that was acquired in 2009.
