The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange is seeking a president and CEO to lead the industry-sponsored advocacy organization.

James Schuping has led WEDI for 15 years and will retire at the end of 2011. WEDI's board expects to conduct interviews in July and August, make its selection by late August then have its new leader on board working with Schuping during a transition period for the rest of the year.

With 35 years in association management work, it is time for a change and to pursue personal priorities, Schuping says. He has community and volunteer activities he'd like to tackle and also may do some consulting.

Interested candidates should by June 24 submit a resume, salary history and cover letter via e-mail to jschuping@wedi.org. Additional information on the position is available here.
