Two software vendors have recently introduced new applications to aid hospitals and other organizations in preparing for and responding to data breaches.

Minneapolis-based SearchAmerica's product is Data Breach Advance Response. The service includes plan development, call center and consumer notification services, and preferred pricing for identity theft protection services from Experian, the owner of Search America.
