Vendors Expand Their Mobile Touch

Ambulatory software vendor Greenway Medical Technologies Inc. and decision support firm PEPID have announced new mobile connectivity solutions.

Carrollton, Ga.-based Greenway has introduced PrimeMobile, which makes its PrimeSuite practice management and electronic health records software available via Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The company is developing similar connectivity for use on Blackberry and Motorola Droid phones.

Evanston, Ill.-based PEPID's medication decision support, which includes a drug database, reference content, dosing calculators, laboratory values and a drug interaction checker, now is available for use with Google Android phones. PEPID's content already works on iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Palm Pre phones.
