Medical imaging software vendor AMICAS Inc. improved its financial performance during the second quarter of 2008.
The Boston-based firm had a net loss of $97,000 compared with a $480,000 loss during the same period last year. Quarterly revenue increased nearly 9% to $13.6 million.
For the first half of 2008, AMICAS had a net loss of $564,000, compared with a $334,000 loss during the first six months of 2007. Half-year revenue rose 6% to $26.4 million.
The company ended the second quarter with cash and equivalents of $53.9 million and no long-term debt. More information is available at amicas.com.
