Soft I.T. Numbers for McKesson

Profit was flat as revenue slightly increased in the first quarter of fiscal 2009 for the Technology Solutions division of McKesson Corp., San Francisco.

The division, which comprises the vendor’s health information technology products and services, had a quarterly net income of $2 million, which matches profit for the same period a year ago.

Revenue for the first quarter that ended June 30 rose 2% to $744 million. Services revenue increased 2% to $564 million, software and systems revenue was flat at $138 million, and hardware sales gained 8% to $42 million.
