Vendor Partnership Targets HIEs

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Carefx Corp. and the Covisint subsidiary of Detroit-based Compuware Corp. have partnered to market their combined technologies to health information exchange initiatives.

Carefx has contributed its Fusionfx context management and visual integration software that enables simultaneous views of patient data from disparate information systems on the desktop. Covisint has contributed its Web-based HIE platform that includes identity management, single-sign-on, master patient index, record locator and secure messaging modules.
