The eCare Patient Access Suite is the bundling of several existing software applications and services that the company is remarketing as a complete package, rather than as separate components as previously done, according to the Franklin, Tenn.-based firm. The applications now are integrated on a single platform, called IntelliSource, which operates on business rules developed by the user.
The suite includes insurance eligibility and address verification, screening of registration data to identify discrepancies before claims are submitted, order screening to validate physicians diagnosis and payment codes match with payer requirements, estimates of patient payment responsibilities, and payment via cash, check, debit/credit card or payment plan.
