Two vendors of picture archiving and communication systems have announced significant new business opportunities.
The CARESTREAM PACS product of Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream Health Inc. now can be marketed to Veterans Administration health facilities following passage of a VA interface validation test.
Five-hospital Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Fla., will replace its existing PACS with the iSite product of Philips Healthcare, Andover, Mass. Terms of the eight-year contract were not disclosed.
