Many of the 62 RECs across the nation are vetting and selecting preferred vendors to shorten the vendor selection process for physicians. Tri-State's selected EHRs are: Professional from Allscripts; athenaNet from athenahealth; eCW EHR from eClinicalWorks; Centricity from GE Healthcare; and NextGen EHR from NextGen Healthcare Information Systems.

TriState, operated by regional health information organization HealthBridge and local partners, expects to assist more than 1,700 physicians in adopting EHRs in southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana. More information is available at healthbridge.org.
