The National Quality Forum has introduced a beta version of new software to enable easier searching of NQF-endorsed health care quality measures.

NQF will host a free Web seminar on Sept. 27 to demonstrate how the software, called the Quality Positioning System, enables searches by condition, data source, care setting and other categories. Users can compare up to three measures side-by-side, create personal portfolios to house measures, and keep the lists private or share with others.

Speakers include Ann Weiss, senior program officer at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; Yael Harris, director of the Health Resources and Services Administration office of health information and quality; Lisa Mason, project director at the Greater Detroit Area Health Council; and Diane Stollenwerk, vice president of community alliances at National Quality Forum.
