The workgroup has released a summary document of principles and its current recommendations, and seeks comment on remaining gaps to be addressed.
The principles cover individual access to electronic health information, procedures for correcting erroneous information, transparency, individual choice to exchange data, safeguards, data quality and integrity, and limitations on collection, use, and disclosure of information.
